Baller Magazine is a poker lifestyle magazine published in Singapore and owning media licenses in both Singapore and Hong Kong. The magazine is considered the most prominent poker magazine in Asia by the Asian Poker Ratings magazine.[1]

The magazine is published on a monthly basis, and is circulated in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines, with a total circulation of 25,000.[2]

In addition to the print version of the magazine, an online edition is also published on a monthly basis. Baller combines the technical elements of poker strategy and news with men's lifestyle content.

The magazine was founded by Singaporean entrepreneur and poker enthusiast Benjamin Ze-Min Lee. In May 2010, Baller announced the appointment of Ben Wilson, a prominent UK poker journalist and writer, as its Deputy Editor. Other regular contributors to the magazine include poker professionals Paul Khoury, Raymond Wu, Dusty Schmidt and Andy Moseley, as well as Australian poker novelist JJ DeCeglie.

Distribution

Baller is distributed free of charge to a number of casinos and poker clubs in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Wynn Macau, StarWorld Hotel and Casino and Grand Lisboa Hotel and Casino in Macau, the Crown Casino in Melbourne, the Star City Casino in Sydney, and Resorts World Manila. The magazine can be picked up at the poker rooms at any of these distribution venues upon request. In addition, Baller also began retailing in bookstores around the Philippines in July 2010.

Related Publications

In July 2010, an English and Chinese language bilingual magazine called The Tao of Winning was launched in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the People's Republic of China[3]. The Tao of Winning is published by Crescendo Publishing Private Limited, the same company that publishes Baller.
